Tony Coln is a Michigan mystery and suspense author and creator of the Sean Emerson Mystery Series. His stories combine compelling characters, unexpected twists, and a healthy dose of real-world experience.
Tony spent nearly two decades in law enforcement, serving as a police officer and chief of police. His professional journey also includes real estate and corporate security management. Those experiences provide a unique perspective on investigations, human behavior, and the secrets people sometimes go to great lengths to protect.
A United States Marine Corps veteran with an MBA, Tony brings a diverse background to his writing. His debut novel, The House That Wasn't for Sale, introduced readers to Sean Emerson, a retired police chief turned real estate agent whose investigative instincts never quite retired. His second novel, Closing Balance, brings Sean back for another suspenseful mystery where a troubling financial discrepancy leads to dangerous secrets and questions some people would rather leave unanswered.
Away from writing, Tony enjoys Harley-Davidson road trips, golf, journaling, and spending time with his daughter.
